About Us

The Mermaid Girls Softball League is a non-profit organization in Oxnard, California with roots dating back to 1967.
The Mermaids Girls Softball League serves the greater Oxnard & Port Hueneme areas, and is available to all girls between the ages of 4 to 17. Our objective is to instill within the girls of this community the ideals of good sportsmanship, teamwork, honesty, and courage. We offer this recreational opportunity to all girls regardless of their athletic ability.
Though we strive for friendly competition, we believe that a positive attitude is more critical than talent, and desire to learn is more valuable than skill.
